Marko Bogataj (born May 12, 1976 ) is a former Slovenian ski jumper .

Bogataj began his international ski jumping career in 1993 in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . On February 25, 1995 he made his debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup and reached his first World Cup point in ski flying in Oberstdorf with 30th place. With this he finished 93rd place in the overall World Cup ranking at the end of the 1994/95 season . In the ski flying ranking he was in 46th place. Despite only mediocre success in the Continental Cup, he was again included in the squad for the World Cup in 1997. On January 11, 1997 he was able to win two more World Cup points in Engelberg . In the other four World Cup competitions in Engelberg, Willingen and Planica he remained unsuccessful and without points. From 1998 he started again exclusively in the Continental Cup, but had to end his active ski jumping career unsuccessfully for another two years in 2000.
