Marko Tredup (born May 15, 1974 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .

Career

As a player

In his youth, Tredup played for Lok Schöneweide , Treptower SV and 1. FC Union Berlin . In the men's field, he moved with many young talents from 1. FC Union Berlin to SC Union 06 Berlin . At this point in time, both clubs sought to cooperate, which failed a short time later. In 1995 Tredup moved from SC Union 06 Berlin to Hansa Rostock , where he played for a year before moving to Tennis Borussia Berlin in 1996 . There Tredup won the German Amateur Championship in 1998 . He played for TeBe Berlin until 2000, after which he was under contract with 1. FC Union Berlin. In the 2000/01 DFB Cup , Tredup reached the final with Union, in which he was substituted on for Jens Tschiedel in the 82nd minute .

In 2002 he moved to VfL Osnabrück . He was under contract with VfL until 2004 and then went to LR Ahlen until he returned to VfL in 2006. After VfL rose to the second division in the summer of 2007, Tredup was mostly only used in the league team and left the club at the end of the season. Tredup played in the 2008/2009 season at SV Bad Rothenfelde in the Oberliga Niedersachsen-West, but then ended his football career due to a knee injury.

In his career, Marko Tredup played 142 second division games (three goals), 127 regional league games (now the third division) and 15 DFB Cup games.

As a trainer

From January 2010 Tredup worked under Joe Enochs as assistant coach of the U21 team at VfL Osnabrück. After Enochs' move to the U19s and one more year as assistant coach under Alexander Ukrow , Tredup took over the U21s as a coach in 2015. Since the dissolution of the U21s at the end of the 2017 season, Tredup briefly coached the U17s before taking over training for the VfL U19 Bundesliga team from Daniel Thioune in October 2017 . After relegation in the 2018/19 season , he gave the team to Florian Fulland and took over the VfL U16s for the new season.

For the 2020/21 season, Tredup will move to Sportfreunde Lotte and will be the new U19 coach in the district league.
