Marko Vukelic (born January 27, 1987 in Hochdorf ) is a former Swiss handball player in the National League A (NLA). The 1.83 meter tall left-hander played mainly in the right back space , but can also be used in the right outer position.
Career
Vukelic started his professional career in the SHL in 2004. From the 2007/08 season he played for ZMC Amicitia Zurich before moving to HC Kriens in 2010 . He stayed there for only one year and played for the Kadetten Schaffhausen from the 2011/12 season . In 2012 he joined RTV 1879 Basel . In the summer of 2016 he ended his career in the top league due to shoulder problems and moved to the sporty Winterthur first division team Seen Tigers, with whom he almost rose to the National League B in 2017. In May 2017, he announced the end of his career due to persistent shoulder injuries.
His greatest successes include the Swiss championships in 2008 and 2009, as well as winning the national cup. Since 2006 he has played in the Swiss men's national handball team . With Amicitia he took part in the EHF Champions League in 2009 and 2010 .
