(19185) Guarneri is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 4, 1991 by the German astronomer Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian state observatory in Tautenburg ( IAU code 033).
The asteroid was named after the Guarneri family of violin makers from Cremonese . The instruments built by (Bartolomeo) Giuseppe Antonio are equated in terms of quality with those of Antonio Stradivari .
