The market fountain unfolding is located in Bremen - Vegesack in the Reeder-Bischoff-Straße on the Kleiner Markt or Ambassador-Duckwitz-Platz . It is included in the list of fountains in the city of Bremen .

The bronze fountain sculpture from 1979 on a round stone plinth made of red porphyry comes from the sculptor Bernd Altenstein . They were donated by swb AG , Bremen's energy company, and installed as part of the road renovation. The artist depicts several figures who spread their arms, that is, symbolically unfold, but suppress other figures in the process.
