List of fountains in the city of Bremen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of fountains in the city of Bremen includes the fountains and gargoyles in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . Some of them have been removed, relocated, remodeled, or destroyed from their original location over the decades. This is noted under the prefix Status. Monuments and statues are expressly not listed.

The list does not claim to be complete, but will be updated continuously. For a better overview, the individual works are arranged according to their date of installation, divided into century and year and possibly even more finely divided into month and day. If two wells were built at the same time (or in the same year), they are listed in alphabetical order.

If the date of the inauguration is unknown, the work is either added to the list below or inserted reasonably sensibly. (If, for example, the artist, the material, the installation site and the subject matter are identical to a work from a certain year, it can be assumed that the monument without a date also comes from around this time at this point in time.)
