Markus-Oliver Schwaab

Markus-Oliver Schwaab (born January 18, 1964 in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois ) is a German economist . He has been a professor in the Human Resources Competence Center at Pforzheim University since 2000 .

Life

Schwaab graduated from the University of Hohenheim with a degree in economics in 1990 . He worked there for five years on a project at Heinz Schuler's chair . He received his doctorate from the University of Koblenz-Landau with a dissertation on education controlling . His doctoral supervisor was Erich Dauenhauer . Schwab worked for ten years in business at Dresdner Bank , Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg and Groupe Danone, mainly in leadership roles in human resource management . In 2000 he was appointed to his chair at Pforzheim University.

Mark Oliver Schwaab teaches personnel marketing , human resource planning , recruitment and strategic human resource management. The main topics in research are the consequences of demographic change , temporary work and personnel marketing. Since 2014 he has also been Vice Dean at the Faculty of Economics and Law at Pforzheim University.

Together with his colleagues from the Pforzheim Human Resources Competence Center, Schwaab was awarded the Baden-Württemberg State Teaching Prize in 2008 .

Schwaab is married and has three children.
