Mark (Jerusalem)
Markus († October 22, 156 in Jerusalem ) was an early church bishop of Jerusalem, who was called Aelia Capitolina at that time . He was the first bishop of Jerusalem after the end of the Bar Kochba uprising and the first bishop of Jerusalem who did not come from Judaism. Mark died a martyr under Antoninus Pius in 156 .
His feast day in the Latin Church is October 22nd.
