Markus Hadulla
Markus Hadulla (* 1970 in Cologne ) is a German pianist and university professor.
Life
Markus Hadulla studied at the universities of Cologne and Karlsruhe , at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris and at the Yale School of Music . Hartmut Höll and Peter Frankl as well as Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf were among his teachers . In 1994 he won the prize for the best song pianist at the VII International Hugo Wolf Competition of the International Hugo Wolf Academy in Stuttgart . Since then he has performed primarily as a chamber musician and lied pianist.
Together with violist Antoine Tamestit , he was selected in 2005 for the "Rising Stars" series of the European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO).
Since 2002 he has taught at the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin and the Karlsruhe University of Music and has been professor for piano vocal accompaniment at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 2016 .
