Markus Hartmann

Markus Hartmann (born March 25, 1977 in Feldkirch ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and dairy and cheese maker. Hartmann was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from March 2018 to November 2019 .

Markus Hartmann is a graduate of the rural school and education center for Vorarlberg in Hohenems and a trained dairy and cheese maker. He also practices this profession at the Schnifis dairy .

Hartmann has been a member of the local council in his home town of Dünserberg since 2005 . In 2013, the Dünserberg municipal council elected him deputy mayor. In the state elections in Vorarlberg 2014 , Markus Hartmann ran in the state electoral district of Feldkirch on the 8th place on the ÖVP list. After Barbara Schöbi-Fink was appointed regional councilor at the beginning of 2018, Markus Hartmann moved up next on the list for her in the state parliament. In the state parliament session on March 7, 2018, Hartmann was finally sworn in as a member of parliament. In the state parliament he took on the function of area spokesman for the VP state parliament club for development cooperation, regionalism and food.

After the state elections in 2019 , he left the state parliament.

He is married and has three children.
