Markus Hinzke

Markus Hinzke (born July 19, 1965 in Herrenberg / Baden-Württemberg ) is a German sound engineer and event manager who equips equestrian and equestrian events with sound technology, music and sound, as well as arranging freestyle music for dressage riders .

Life

Hinzke came into contact with horses as a teenager and competed in tournaments as a hobby show jumper. At the same time, he began to offer small services as a DJ at parties and, in the process, to improve the sound system for smaller sporting events.

He completed training as a precision mechanic and industrial clerk . With his hobby, sound and event technology, he started his own business in 1992 and founded the company "Happy Hippo" based in Ammerbuch.

Markus Hinzke oversees the sound and event organization of international horse shows such as the Mannheim Maimarkt, in 2015 at the CSIO in Mannheim, the international “German Master” World Cup tournament in Stuttgart, the “Baden Classics” in Offenburg . B. the Florida Horse shows in the USA. Hinzke is also responsible for the technical implementation of all Henning Reitevents equestrian events. The events of the "Old Masters" series and the "Mercedes-Benz Forum" are visited by thousands of equestrian enthusiasts every year.

Hinzke produces music competitions for dressage riders, including Emma Hindle , Anabel Balkenhol and Dorothee Schneider . For some years now, a music freestyle has also been an individual rating at important championships such as European and World Championships as well as at the Olympic Games. There is a grade for the choreography and the appropriate music. Hinzke designs the freestyle with the rider and arranges the appropriate musical accompaniment. Sometimes he works with musicians who play their own compositions. With a freestyle by Markus Hinzke, Anabel Balkenhol and Dablino finished 19th at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

In August 2016, Markus Hinzke was Music Director in charge of the dressage discipline at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Hinzke is in a relationship with a dressage rider. He has a daughter.
