Markus Hutterstrasser (born September 7, 1973 ) is a former Austrian football player in the position of midfielder and current coach. Hutterstrasser was represented in the Bundesliga for one season with VSE St. Pölten . Markus Hutterstrasser is currently assistant trainer at SV Würmla .
Career
player
Markus Hutterstrasser started his career at ATSV Ober-Grafendorf . At the age of 16, Hutterstrasser moved to the St. Pölten football academy , where after two years he moved to the Bundesliga squad of VSE St. Pölten . There he came to two missions, his first match was against the Wiener Sportclub , where he replaced Michael Flajs in the 55th minute . His last game in the Bundesliga was against SV Salzburg , where he was substituted on for Gerhard Zauner in the closing stages .
Then Hutterstrasser moved to ASK Ybbs in the Regionalliga Ost . In his first season outside of St. Pölten, he was unable to assert himself and only played two games with one goal. In the following seasons he moved to the league rivals EPSV Gmünd and SV Würmla , where he was initially unable to prevail. But in the second season with Würmla he could play in every match of the season and also scored five goals. Nonetheless, at the beginning of the 1999 season, he moved to the Lower Austrian regional league club SV Langenrohr . There he came in two seasons to 28 appearances with six goals. Then he moved again to SV Würmla, who have since been relegated from the regional league.
Further stations were Zwentendorf, Ober-Grafendorf, Maria Anzbach, Kremser SC and USC Markersdorf, where he also ended his football career.
Trainer
Hutterstrasser began his coaching career at 1. SV Maria Anzbach on July 1, 2010, where he was only employed for three months. Then he was hired by SV Würmla in the winter of 2016 as an assistant coach, where he is still active today. In the meantime he worked for Würmla as an interim trainer for two weeks.
