Markus Jaursch

Markus Jaursch (born January 24, 1965 in Augsburg ) is a German painter.

Life

From 1987 to 1995 Jaursch studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . After an abstract phase in the mid-1990s, after 2000 he turned to figurative painting. In his conceptual work on the subject of "longing", the leitmotif of his pictures, which now consists of more than 1000 pictures , he works today in a representational, surreal style that is characterized by open, very painterly brushwork. His work has been carried out across Germany, e.g. B. in Munich and Berlin, and can also be seen internationally. Markus Jaursch lives and works in Passau , Lower Bavaria.
