Markus Maria Enggist
Markus Maria Enggist (* 1974 in Bern ) is a Swiss actor and songwriter .
Life
Enggist is the son of an Austrian mother and a Swiss father. As a result, he is known on stage for Austropop presented in Viennese style as well as for Bern-German drama.
In 2006 and 2007 he played the leading role in Dällebach Kari at Theater Gurten . The play celebrated a great success with 30,000 visitors in 50 sold out performances.
In 2009 Enggist released his debut album Really .
In 2010 Enggist opened Theater Matte together with Livia Anne Richard , Annemarie Morgenegg, Fredi Stettler and Hank Shizzoe in the Matte district in Bern , where he has been active as a theater director, author, director and actor ever since.
In February 2015, the last album so far was released, the story concert Halbi Schueh . It contains songs for children in Bern German that were previously performed in a series of concerts at the Matte Theater.
