Markus Messenzehl (born June 20, 1972 ) is a German curler .

Messenzehl made his international debut in 1993 at the Junior Curling World Championships in Grindelwald , where he won his first medal with a bronze medal. At the EM 2002 he became European champion for the first time. At the EM 2004 Messenzehl was able to win the title of European champion again.

Messenzehl played as a substitute for Germany at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City . The team finished the tournament in sixth place.
