Markus Mohren (born March 11, 1961 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Markus Mohren played for three years in the Bundesliga with Borussia Mönchengladbach . In his first year of the 1980/81 season he was without a job. His debut in the first division followed in the second year when he was substituted on by his coach Jupp Heynckes in the 80th minute on March 30, 1982, the 26th matchday of the season, in the away game at Eintracht Frankfurt . After the 1982/83 season , Mohren turned his back on professional sports; but he remained connected to football. As an amateur Mohren still played in the Oberliga Nordrhein for Olympia Bocholt and 1. FC Viersen .
National team
Mohren played 13 times for the German A youth national team. He won the youth tournament in Tashkent with her in 1979 and took part in the UEFA youth tournament , the predecessor of the U-18 European Championship in Austria.
Others
After his professional career, he completed an apprenticeship as an office administrator and studied business administration.
