Markus Ziesche (born March 9, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen in the 2nd Bundesliga until 2011 .

Career

Markus Ziesche began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the Eisbären Juniors Berlin , for which he was active for the first time in the German youth league in the 2002/03 season . The attacker then spent a year with the Canadian junior team Winnipeg Wild before playing for the Eisbären Juniors Berlin in the DNL during another season. At the same time, he played his first three games in the major league for the first team of the Eisbären Juniors in the 2004/05 season , in which he was a regular player in the following three years.

For the 2008/09 season , Ziesche moved to the Lausitzer Füchsen , for whose professional team he prepared three goals in 39 games in the 2nd Bundesliga . At the end of the season he left the club and joined the league rivals Dresdner Eislöwen , for whom he played until 2011.
