Marlene Löhr

Marlene Löhr (born August 2, 1985 in Lüneburg ) is a former German politician of the Greens . From 2009 to 2013 she was chairwoman of the Schleswig-Holstein regional association .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in Lüneburg, Löhr studied political science, economics and folklore / European ethnology in Flensburg and Kiel from 2005 to 2008 . From 2008 to 2013 she completed a master's degree in European Studies in Flensburg and Sønderborg , and spent a semester abroad in 2009 at the Copenhagen Business School .

From 2017 to 2019 she was press spokeswoman for the Ibn Rushd Goethe Mosque in Berlin , the secular mosque project initiated by the Muslim women's rights activist and lawyer Seyran Ateş .

politics

Löhr was a member of the Greens from 2004 to 2018 . She worked on the boards of the Lüneburg and Flensburg district associations and was the district board spokeswoman for the Flensburg Greens from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010 she was a council member in Flensburg.

Since 2007, Marlene Löhr has been an assessor on the board of the Schleswig-Holstein state association . From 2009 to 2013 she was chairman of the regional association together with Eka von Kalben .

On June 30, 2010 she was a member of the 14th Federal Assembly . In 2012, together with Eka von Kalben , she headed the negotiating committee in the coalition negotiations with the SPD and SSW . She was also head of the Greens delegation in the Labor, Economy, Transport & Europe working group.

In 2013 she did not run for a new term. Peter Stoltenberg was elected as her successor .
