Peter Stoltenberg

Peter Stoltenberg (* 1949 in Bad Segeberg ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 2013 to 2015 he was state chairman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Schleswig-Holstein .

biography

After graduating from high school in 1968, Peter Stoltenberg studied agriculture at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel with a focus on "Economics and Social Sciences in Agriculture". He graduated in 1974 with a degree in agricultural engineering .

From 1976 to 2013, Stoltenberg worked as an independent farmer in Seedorf (Segeberg district) . In 1989 he switched his farm to organic farming . From 1992 to 2008 he held various honorary positions in the Bioland cultivation association .

politics

In 2004 Peter Stoltenberg joined the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party . Since 2011 he has been the spokesman for the Segeberg Green District Association. From March 2013 to May 2015, Peter Stoltenberg was alongside Ruth Kastner state chairman of the Greens in Schleswig-Holstein.

From 2008 to 2013 Stoltenberg belonged to the district council of the Segeberg district and represented the district in the Schleswig-Holstein district council .

In the state elections in 2012 and 2017 , Peter Stoltenberg ran for the Greens as a direct candidate in the Segeberg-Ost constituency , as well as in the 2013 federal election in the Segeberg - Stormarn-Mitte constituency .
