Marlies Deneke
Marlies Deneke (born Kilian ; born December 23, 1953 in Magdeburg ) is a former German SED functionary and later PDS politician. In 1990 she was deputy chairwoman of the PDS.
Life
After attending high school, the daughter of a worker completed an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk from 1970 to 1972. She then worked in the State Trade Organization (HO) for everyday goods in Magdeburg. In 1979 she became a member of the SED. She completed a distance learning from 1980 to 1985 at the Dresden Technical School for Economics as an economist. From 1982 to 1988 she was the chairwoman of the works union management and from 1988 to December 1989 SED - party secretary in the HO daily necessities.
In December 1989 she was elected to the party executive committee of the SED-PDS and its presidium. From January to March 1990 she sat at the Central Round Table in Berlin. In June 1990 she became Deputy Chairwoman of the PDS together with André Brie . From March 1990 she was a member of the 10th People's Chamber of the GDR and then in the German Bundestag until the end of the same year . In January 1991 she was re-elected as deputy PDS chairman and held this office until the second PDS party congress in December 1991.
In March 1990 she was a co-founder of the Left Socialist Women's Working Group of the PDS LISA
In 2002 she left the PDS.
Deneke has one child and is married to Dietmar Keller for the second time .
