Marlon Krause (born September 1, 1990 in Halstenbek ) is a former German soccer player . He was most recently under contract with 1. FC Saarbrücken .

Career

Krause played in his youth for SV Halstenbek-Rellingen , Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld and Concordia Hamburg . For the 2007/08 season he moved to the A youth team at FC St. Pauli . In the 2008/09 season he made his senior debut in the Hamburg Oberliga on September 7, 2008 against Eintracht Norderstedt . During his time for the amateurs of FC St. Pauli, he played 63 games by June 2011 and scored four goals. On May 12, 2011, he was invited to a trial training session with the Thuringian third division club FC Carl Zeiss Jena and, after successfully completing it, signed a one-year contract on June 30, 2011. Krause made his professional debut in a 4: 3 against Arminia Bielefeld on November 19, 2011 in the 3rd league for FC Carl Zeiss Jena. By the end of the season he had five more missions and was relegated with CZ Jena from the third division. At the end of the 2012 season, Krause signed a contract with Holstein Kiel that ran until 2016.

Then Krause was signed by the SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . For the 2017/2018 season, Krause moved to 1. FC Saarbrücken in the Southwest Football Regionalliga . Krause signed a contract with the Saarlanders until June 30, 2019. Krause, who was a leading player at Saarbrücken, suffered cartilage damage in his left knee in a game against VfB Stuttgart II in April 2018, and a year later he declared his career end due to disability.
