Marlyne Sarah Ngongoa (born July 7, 1983 ) is a former Cameroonian long jumper .

Athletic career

Marlyne Sarah Ngongoa gained her first international experience at the 2011 African Games , where she won the silver medal behind Nigerian Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor with a wind -assisted 6.46 m and came eighth in the triple jump with 12.74 m. The following year she finished eighth at the African Championships in Porto-Novo , with 5.82 m. In 2013 she was sixth at the Games of Francophonie with 6.36 m and at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow the following year with 6.20 m tenth. Then she reached fourth place at the African Championships in Marrakech with 6.24 m. At the Africa GamesIn 2015 in Brazzaville, she finished sixth with a width of 6.11 m and was seventh at the Military World Games in Mungyeon, South Korea, with 6.14 m. In 2016 she won the bronze medal at the African Championships in Durban with 6.34 m behind the Nigerian Ese Brume and her compatriot Joëlle Mbumi Nkouindjin . In 2017 she won the bronze medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku with 6.06 m, as well as with the Cameroonian 4 x 100 meter relay in 46.78 s. Then she finished sixth at the Francophonie Games in Abidjan with 5.91 m.
