Marouane Kacimi (born August 22, 1996 ) is a Moroccan athlete who has specialized in the decathlon but has also achieved success in high and long jump.

Athletic career

Marouane Kacimi gained his first international experience in 2018 at the African Championships in Asaba , where he finished fifth in the high jump with a jump of 2.10 m. In the following year he won the silver medal behind Iraqi Hussein Falah al-Ibraheemi at the Arab Championships in Cairo with 2.14 m and secured the bronze medal behind his compatriot Yahya Berrabah and Yasser Triki from Algeria in the long jump with 7.82 m . He then took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time , where he won the bronze medal with 6607 points behind the Algerian Larbi Bourrada and Moustafa Ramadan from Egypt . He also secured the silver medal behind the Algerian Triki in the long jump with 7.79 m.

In 2019, Kacimi became the Moroccan champion in high and long jump.
