Marquard Georg Metzger

Marquard Georg Metzger (* around 1805 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † June 19, 1872 there ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Marquard Georg Metzger studied law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg . He became a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen and in 1826 of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . In 1829 he passed the legal examination and was a legal intern in Freiburg from 1930 to 1936. In 1836 he became an official assessor and in 1841 an official at the district office of Waldshut. In 1842 he became a bailiff in Heidelberg . From 1843 he was an assessor and court judge in Mannheim . In 1847 he was appointed senior bailiff and board member of the Bonndorf district office . In 1848 he was appointed head of the Stockach district office , in 1850 for the Staufen district office and in 1864 for the Oberkirch district office . In 1869 he retired from active service for health reasons.
