Marquinhos , full name Marcus Vinicius Vidal Cunha , (born May 28, 1992 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

The 1.68 meter tall midfielder Marquinhos has been a member of Parana Curitiba's squad since at least 2011 . There he played 19 games (one goal) in the Série B until his move in early February 2013 and - each without a personal goal - seven encounters in the Campeonato Paranaense and one game in the Copa do Brasil . Subsequently, the Romanian club Oțelul Galați was his employer. Across the seasons he scored ten league goals with the Romanians in 35 appearances in league 1 . He also ran five times (two goals) in the Cupa României . In mid-July 2014 he joined the Azerbaijani club FK Qäbälä , where he has played a cup (no goal) and played 13 games (one goal) in the league. At the end of March 2015, he moved to the Uruguayan first division team River Plate Montevideo , for whom he played four times (no goal) in the Primera División in the Clausura . In the 2015/16 season he was used in six first division games (no goal) with the Montevideans. Since August 2016 at the latest he has been in the ranks of the Brazilian club J. Malucelli , for whom he has played a league game (no goal) in Serie D so far (as of October 2, 2016).
