Marstall Tower
The Marstall Tower ( Estonian Tallitorn ) is a defense tower of the Reval city fortifications in the Estonian capital Tallinn (Reval).

It is located on the southwest side of the old town of Reval on the Kurzen Toompea (Estonian Lühike jalg ). A little further to the south is the Mägdeturm defense tower , to the north is the gate on the Kleiner Domberg . The wall of the historic city fortifications is directly adjacent to the tower.
Architecture and history
The small square tower was built in the 15th century. It is round on the outside. It served as a detention center in the 16th century. In 1577 the Marstall Tower was damaged during the Livonian War .
At the beginning of the 20th century the tower, especially its top, is described as dilapidated. According to legend, ghosts are said to haunt the tower.
