Epping Tower
The Epping Tower ( Estonian Eppingi torn ) is a defense tower of the Reval city fortifications in the Estonian capital Tallinn (Reval).

It is located on the northwest side of the old town of Reval, at Laboratoriumstrasse number 31. The neighboring defense towers are the Plate Tower in the south and the tower behind Grusbeke in the north.
Architecture and history
The defense tower dates back to the 14th century and is now designed as a shell tower in the shape of a horseshoe with six storeys. The name of the tower goes back to a construction manager responsible for the tower named Epping .
The tower is open to the public for a fee. Inside an exhibition on medieval weapons and armor as well as the development of the Reval city fortifications is shown.
