Marsupella ramosa is a species of moss of the order Jungermanniales . The species is believed to be a polyploid clan of Marsupella funckii .
features
The trunks form numerous stolons and are richly ramified. They form dense, black, cushion-shaped lawns up to 2.5 centimeters in height. The leaves are boat-shaped, spread out, they are broadly ovate to square. They are incised over a quarter to third of their length, resulting in two pointed, slightly inwardly curved lobes. In the middle of the leaf, the cells are 20 to 25 × 25 to 30 micrometers in size, the corners are thickened triangular. A perianth is available.
Distribution and locations
The species occurs in Slovakia as well as in Germany in the Allgäu and on the Feldberg ( Black Forest ). It grows on lime-free soils and in crevices.
