Martadi ( Nepali मार्तडी ) is a small town and a former Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Bajura district in western Nepal .
Martadi lies on a 1580 m high plateau in the Himalayas above the river valley of a left tributary of the Budhiganga . Martadi is the seat of the district administration. A road leads from Sanphebagar up the Budhiganga river valley to Martadi. Bajura Airport is located 20 km east-northeast of Martadi, near Kolti . In 2015, Martadi was merged with several neighboring communities to form the city of Badimalika .
Residents
At the 2011 census, Martadi had 8807 inhabitants (4706 of them male) in 1920 households.
