Badimalika ( Nepali कमलबजार ) is a city ( municipality ) in western Nepal in the Bajura district .

history

The city was created on December 2, 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Budhiganga , Jugada and Martadi . The urban area covers 286.5 km².

geography

Badimalika is located in the Front Himalayas at an altitude of 1580  m .

The city administration and the district administration of Bajura are located in Martadi.

Residents

In the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the city of Badimalika emerged, had 18,207 inhabitants (9,352 of them male) in 3,710 households.
