Marthe Bjørnsgaard (born May 6, 1993 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Bjørnsgaard made her debut in the Scandinavian Cup in Lillehammer in December 2014 , where she finished 20th in the 10 km freestyle and sprint and 21st in the 20 km classic mass start race. In February 2015 she achieved her first top 10 placement with fifth place over 10 km classic in Madona . In March 2015 Bjørnsgaard started the sprint in Drammen for the first time in the World Cup ; there she reached 44th place. In December 2015 she finished tenth in the fourth Norwegian season at the World Cup in Lillehammer and achieved her second top 10 placement in this series with a tenth place over 10 km freestyle at the Scandinavian Cup in Vuokatti . At the Scandinavian Cup stage race in Otepää in March 2016, Bjørnsgaard came third overall with the second fastest time in the final pursuit. In the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup 2015/16 , she finished fifth. In February 2017 she won the 41 km classic at Vindfjelløpet.
