The Martin Luther School (MLS for short) is a high school with a focus on music in Rimbach in southern Hesse and a large school in the Bergstrasse district with around 900 students .

The school produces some of its electricity itself with its own photovoltaic system and a block-type thermal power station.

building

The school consists of four buildings (A – D) and has a library and media center.

A steadily increasing number of pupils led to an acute shortage of space in the 1990s. An increase in the old main building (A building) in 2000 could only remedy the problem for a short time. Temporary containers had to be set up as classrooms. As a long-term solution, building complexes C and D were demolished and rebuilt as the new main building by the end of 2014 for around 21 million euros.
