The building at Martin-Luther-Straße 56, formerly Artillerie-Straße 16, southwest of the town hall , is a well-preserved building with a side wing facing the courtyard . As with the neighboring building , the design and implementation come from the burger master mason Gustav Ortloff . The building is a two-story residential building with a one-sided hipped roof . The first floor was expanded on the street side by extending the roof area to an attic floor with dormer . The facade is made of red bricks . Natural stone elements were attached above and below the windows. On the building side of Gorkistraße there is a wooden balcony on the first floor . The building was created in connection with the western expansion of the city and has been a listed building since 2017.
