Martin Andersson (born May 9, 1982 ) is a Swedish football player . The midfielder has played over a hundred games in Swedish professional football in his career to date.
Career
Andersson comes from the youth of Enköpings SK . For the club he was used from the 2001 season in the second-rate Superettan . In his first years with the competition team, he was a supplementary player who usually came on as a substitute. With twenty appearances - two of them in the starting line-up - he took part in the club's promotion to the Allsvenskan . In the first division, he played 14 games, but went straight down with the team. In the subsequent second division season in 2004 , he worked out a regular place in midfield. At the end of the season, however, he was relegated to the team, but remained loyal to the club in the third division. Although he won his third division season with the team, in the subsequent promotion round it failed at Umeå FC . However, this meant that the club was qualified for the new double-track Division 1 , the northern relay of which the club ended as the season winner just before the IK Sirius . In twenty league appearances in the 2007 season, he helped keep the promoted team up.
In the fall of 2007, however, Andersson announced his departure and moved to the Stockholm club Djurgårdens IF in Allsvenskan with effect from January 1, 2008 . After a good start to the season, he injured himself in the summer and was out for a long time. He only returned to the field in October, but did not play another competitive game. In the 2009 season he was only one of the supplementary players and only played three league games by the summer. Therefore, he left the club on loan to Vasalunds IF in July . By the end of the second division season in 2009 he was a regular here, but missed relegation as the bottom of the table with the club. He then returned to Djurgårdens IF, but was injured again. After he had missed the entire season, his contract, which expired at the end of the season, was not extended. As a result he was without a club.
