geography
course
The Steinbach rises on the western outskirts of Weibersbrunn near the federal motorway 3 in the Weibersbrunnen . The spring used for the drinking water supply gave the community its name. The Steinbach flows piped through the village in a south-easterly direction, parallel to the state road 2308 . At the sewage treatment plant , the Rohrwiesenbach flowing down from Rohrbrunn flows into it from the right . The Steinbach bends north at the stone gate . In the vicinity of the hiking car park of the same name , it is reinforced by the stream from the Steinbrunnen (Lage) , a strong spring on the right edge of the valley. In the further course the Steinbach meanders on the edge of the approximately 15 hectare large, 1928 developed nature reserve Metzgergraben-Krone to the Ahlmichdamm . There it flows into the Hafenlohr in a heavily swamped area of the Hafenlohrtal nature reserve .
