geography
course
The Rohrwiesenbach rises between the federal motorway 3 and the former federal road 8 , directly at the Spessart service area , in the Rohrbrunnen . The spring was taken for the drinking water supply and gave the place Rohrbrunn its name. The stream that rises there in the forest flows west through a swampy area, crosses under the motorway and bends north. It leaves the municipality of Weibersbrunn and runs between Heinrichsberg (457 m) and Geiersberg (586 m), the highest point in the Spessart, through the Rohrbrunner Forest . In the further course the Rohrwiesenbach flows through some clearings in the Rohrwiesengrund . A small brook flows from the left, which rises in the Heinrichsbrunnen . The Rohrwiesenbach flows into the Steinbach at the sewage treatment plant east of Weibersbrunn .
