Martin Bachhuber (born October 14, 1955 in Benediktbeuern ) is a German local and state politician ( CSU ).

Bachhuber is a trained administrator . From 1984 to 2008 he was mayor of the Upper Bavarian health resort Bad Heilbrunn . After the local elections in the spring of 1990, he also took over a mandate in the district assembly of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district and on October 14, 1990 one in the district assembly of Upper Bavaria, which he held until autumn 2008. From 1996 to 2008 he was deputy district administrator .

In March 2008 he was defeated by Josef Niedermaier ( Free Voters ) in the runoff election for the Tölzer District Administrator . In the state elections in 2008 he won the direct mandate previously exercised by Edmund Stoiber in the constituency of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen ( constituency of Upper Bavaria ) and will be a member of the Bavarian state parliament for the first time from autumn 2008 . Bachhuber is also a member of the State Budget and Financial Affairs Committee.

He is married and has three children.
