Martin Bolze

Martin Christian Bolze (stage name Pharo ; born June 17, 1957 in Peckelsheim ) is a German hypnotist and book author.

Life

Martin Bolze headed the Institute for Suggestion and Hypnotherapy on Mallorca and later on Gran Canaria . Since 1982 he has appeared as a show hypnotist with his own stage show. Bolze had numerous short appearances and interviews on radio and television .

Martin Bolze lived in Mallorca with his partner Michaela Scherer from August 2016 , and in Gran Canaria again from 2018 .

Martin Bolze has been a singer, producer, lyricist and composer in the Schlager genre since 2001 . He appears as a soloist under the stage names Christian Martin and PHARO ; since 2011 also as a duo with his partner Michaela Scherer under the name DIE PHAROs .

Martin “Pharo” Bolze and his partner Michaela Scherer, Princess of Anhalt, have also been on the road as official ambassadors for the aid organization Handicap International with humanitarian aid since 2018, in August 2019 in Mozambique .

In 2000, the WDR produced a television documentary by Annette Zinkant about Martin Bolze for the series Menschen hautnah under the title Der Hypnotiseur .

In 2010, Bolze hypnotized TV presenter Sylvie van der Vaart and other guests in the RTL casting show Das Supertalent . In the semifinals he staged an attempt to hypnotize the audience through the screen.

On May 10, 2018, the TV station RTL showed the pilot episode of the hypnosis show My hidden wish with Martin Bolze as the central figure. The program was moderated by Angela Finger-Erben . The show had 1.18 million viewers. Because the market share was only 4.9%, the show was discontinued after only one episode.

Since 2012 Bolze and his partner Michaela Scherer have been part of the Goodbye Deutschland! The emigrants shown.

In summer 2020, he and his partner will take part in the RTL reality format Das Sommerhaus der Stars .
