Martin Henkel (born July 11, 1943 in Marburg ) is a German non-fiction author.

life and work

Martin Henkel was born in Marburg in 1943. After graduating from high school, he studied Protestant theology and social sciences and received his doctorate in 1980. He published works on social history, women's movement and communication theory and, with BLUFF, mare ignorantiae, a study on Arno Schmidt , about which Der Spiegel wrote: “The Bochum sociologist Martin Henkel, 49, exposed the supposedly universally educated heather inhabitant from Bargfeld near Celle as an intellectual whiskers. ”He published many of his works together with Rolf Taubert.
