Martin Illi

Martin Illi (* 1956 ) is a Swiss historian .

Life

Illi received his doctorate in 1991 from the University of Zurich with a thesis on burials and the churchyard in the pre-industrial city.

He realizes numerous book and exhibition projects, particularly on the history of the canton and the city ​​of Zurich , where he also leads city ​​tours . He is also a member of the Photo Department of the Historical Dictionary of Switzerland .
