Martin Kager (born November 21, 1985 in Vorau , Styria ) is an Austrian football player who plays in the position of central defender . Kager has been under contract with SV Lafnitz since 2010 .
Career
In his youth Kager played for USV Dechantskirchen and later for Grazer AK .
From 2003 Martin Kager played at TSV Hartberg and played in the Regionalliga Mitte . In 2005, Kager moved to USV Hartberg Umgebung , where he played until 2009.
At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, Kager moved back to TSV Hartberg .
After the 2009/10 season, Kager left TSV Hartberg in the direction of SV Lafnitz . In the 2010/11 season, in which Kager acted as captain, the team achieved the championship title of the Oberliga Süd / Ost. In the following season, Kager played with his club in the Styrian regional league . There he completed 25 league games as captain before he was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on May 19, 2012.
