Martin Lehmann (born August 21, 1973 in Malchin ) is a German choir director . Since 2012 he has been the musical director of the Windsbach Boys Choir .

Lehmann grew up in Dresden , where he joined the Dresden Kreuzchor in 1983 . In 1992 he graduated from high school. After community service and a one-year stay in South America, he studied musicology in Dresden. In 1995 he and friends founded the Cantamus Dresden Chamber Choir , which he became director. Lehmann then studied choral conducting with Hans-Christoph Rademann at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden . The diploma course was followed by a postgraduate course in choral conducting and an additional course in orchestral conducting. In 2004 he successfully completed his studies with distinction. In November 2001, Martin Lehmann became director of the renowned Leipzig girls' choir Schola Cantorum and followed a teaching position at the Dresden University of Music. In October 2005 the appointment as musical director of the Wuppertal Kurrende followed . On February 1, 2012, Lehmann took over the artistic direction of the Windsbach Boys Choir, succeeding Karl-Friedrich Beringer .

Martin Lehmann has been church music director (KMD) since 2017.

Martin Lehmann is married and has two children.
