Martin Litschauer (born November 19, 1974 in Waidhofen an der Thaya ) is an Austrian politician from the Greens . He was the top candidate of his party in the Waldviertel regional constituency in the 2019 National Council election and was a member of the National Council .
Life
Martin Litschauer graduated from HTL Karlstein and then worked for an international company. In 2000 he took a stand against the Temelin nuclear power plant and became the spokesman for the non-partisan platform Stop Temelin . He was also involved in the founding of the Waldviertler Energiestammtisch and as a board member at Eurosolar Austria .

In 2006 Litschauer founded the Green Fraid in Waidhofen an der Thaya , which means that he has also been a Waidhofner city councilor since 2015 . From 2013 to 2018 he was a member of the provincial board of the Greens in Lower Austria , as well as currently in the provincial committee of the Greens. In 2019, Litschauer ran as the top candidate of the Waldviertel regional constituency in order to move into the National Council above 4th place on the state list of Lower Austria.
