Josef Wiesinger (born December 18, 1961 in Horn ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Wiesinger has been deputy state party chairman of the SPÖ Lower Austria and a member of the SPÖ federal party executive committee since 2018 , as well as a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria since 2019 .

education

Josef Wiesinger attended elementary school, secondary school and the polytechnic course in his home town of Gars am Kamp . After completing a motor vehicle apprenticeship, he completed training as a universal train driver.

Political functions

At community and regional level

Josef Wiesinger has been a local councilor in Gars am Kamp since 1990 and has been an executive councilor there since 1995. He is also district chairman of the SPÖ district of Horn .
