Kurt Hackl (born September 13, 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian entrepreneur and politician ( ÖVP ). Hackl has been a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament since 2008 .

education and profession

Hackl attended elementary school and then switched to high school. After he had completed the Matura at an upper secondary school, he studied journalism and communication sciences, where he completed his studies with the academic degree Mag . Hackl is also a qualified communications clerk. Hackl worked from 1992 to 1994 as a parliamentary assistant to Vice Chancellor Josef Riegler and from 1993 also worked for the members of parliament Ludwig Kowald and Ernst Schindlbacher . From 1994 to 1995 he was a consultant for public relations and training in the social insurance institute for farmers. politics

Hackl moved into the Wolkersdorf local council in 1995 and was elected chairman of the Wolkersdorf local group in 1999. Since 2000 he has been the city councilor for economics and finance and an official of the Chamber of Commerce of the specialist group committee for advertising and market communication. In 2005 he was elected club chairman of the ÖVP community council group Wolkersdorf and moved up to the state parliament of Lower Austria on April 10, 2008 after the formation of the government. After the resignation of Mayor Norbert Heurteur, he became Vice Mayor of Wolkersdorf in autumn 2009.

Hackl is divorced and lives in Wolkersdorf.
