Anton Erber (born April 2, 1968 in Rogatsboden ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Erber is married and has been a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament since 1998 .

Life

Erber attended a school for tourism, passed the license examination for the hospitality industry and completed an MBA. Professionally, Erber was a restaurateur and previously as a parachutist and combat swimmer with the Jagdkommando , an elite unit of the Austrian Armed Forces. Erber was politically active in the Young People's Party and was deputy chairman of the Young ÖVP in Purgstall an der Erlauf . In addition, he held the office of JVP district chairman from 1989 to 1992, and between 1995 and 2001 he was their country chairman. Erber was a councilor in Purgstall from 2005 to 2010 and has represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament since April 16, 1998. Erber is the social spokesman for the ÖVP state parliament club and is particularly committed to affordable and humane types of care for the elderly. Previously, he was housing spokesman. Erber is district party leader of the ÖVP-Scheibbs.
