Michaela Hinterholzer (born May 20, 1959 in Linz ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Hinterholzer has been a member of the Lower Austria state parliament since 1998 and mayor of Oed-Öhling since July 1, 2014 .

Life

Hinterholzer passed the high school diploma in Amstetten . She entered professional life in 1977 and works as a managing director. In 1995 she became a member of the Lower Austrian provincial guild committee of the building aid trade and in 1996 chairwoman of the Amstettner relief organization. She is also deputy regional chairwoman and district chairwoman of the Lower Austrian Economic Association and president of the Lower Austria Aid Organization. Hinterholzer has represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament since April 16, 1998. Hinterholzer is economics spokeswoman for the ÖVP state parliament club.

On December 5, 2008, she received the Great Silver Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria for her achievements and commitment in her function as a member of the state parliament and in the Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce as well as for her commitment in the social field . In 2014 she was presented with the Silver Commander's Cross of Honor for Services to the State of Lower Austria .
