Gerhard Razborcan (born December 24, 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Razborcan has been a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament since 2002 .

Life

After primary and secondary school, Razborcan attended a commercial school and trained in the areas of publicity party work, rhetoric, campaign skills, moderation and political management. Professionally, he worked as an employee of the social insurance institute of the Lower Austrian regional health insurance fund in the medical department / contractual partner control. In 1992 he switched to the SPÖ district organization in Schwechat as managing director.

He lives in Leopoldsdorf and has a daughter and a son.

politics

Razborcan has been a member of the SPÖ since 1979 and worked in various sub and subsidiary organizations. In 1995 he was elected to the executive council of the Leopoldsdorf community and led the SPÖ Leopoldsdorf as parliamentary group chairman. Razborcan has represented the SPÖ since November 7, 2002 in the Lower Austrian state parliament, where he succeeded Richard Gebert . Razborcan had previously been the executive chairman of the SPÖ in the Schwechat district since 2001 and took over the chairmanship of the district organization in 2002. In the last legislative period of the Lower Austrian state parliament he was elected deputy club chairman. In the state parliament work, Razborcan devotes himself above all to housing, transport and European politics. At the Lower Austria state party conference in 2009, Razborcan was elected deputy state party chairman.
