Hermann Hauer (born September 5, 1964 in Puchberg am Schneeberg ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Hauer has been a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament since 2008 . Since 2016 Vice President of the Lower Austria Aid Organization.

education and profession

After primary and secondary school, Hauer attended the HTL Mödling , specializing in building construction. Hauer also completed an IT training course. From 1984 to 1986 he worked as a construction technician and then from 1986 to 1986 at the Neunkirchen tax office. Since 1987 Hauer has been working at the Office of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government in the Federal Roads Department, State Roads Department.

politics

Hauer has been involved in politics since 1981 and was elected board member of the Young People's Party in Puchberg in 1982. In 1992 he became deputy chairman of the Austrian Workers' Union (ÖAAB) in Puchberg and in 1998 sub-district chairman of the ÖAAB. After he had been elected district chairman of the ÖAAB in 2000, he also took over the function of ÖVP district chairman in 2004. Since April 10, 2008, Hauer has also represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament.

Private

Hauer has been married since 1990 and has one son. He lives in Puchberg am Schneeberg.
