Waltraud Ungersböck

Waltraud Ungersböck (born June 25, 1976 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). She has been a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament since January 30, 2020, and Vice Mayor of Scheiblingkirchen-Thernberg since March 2020 .

Life

Waltraud Ungersböck attended the agricultural college in Warth from 1991 , which she graduated as a skilled worker in 1994 . From 1995 to 1997 she completed an apprenticeship as an agricultural master. In 2015/16 she completed an apprenticeship as an agricultural and forest workshop ranger at the agricultural college in Warth, followed in 2017 by a certificate course for school on the farm and in 2018 a certificate course for seminar farmer . From 1994 to 1999 she worked in her parents' farm, from 1998 to 2000 she was the managing director of the Bucklige Welt fruit and must community . Since 1999 she has been the manager of an agricultural and forestry company, and since 2018 she has also given lectures as a seminar farmer. Ungersböck is married and has three children.

politics

Ungersböck has been a local farmer and parliamentary group member of the ÖVP in Scheiblingkirchen-Thernberg as well as a member of the district chamber of farmers in Neunkirchen since 2015 . She has been the deputy chairman of the Neunkirchen regional farmers' association since 2019, and has been a member of the Scheiblingkirchen-Thernberg municipal council since September 2019. On January 30th, 2020 she was in the XIX. Legislative term as Member of the state parliament of Lower Austria sworn in , where she is a member of the Culture Committee. She replaced Klaudia Tanner , who became Minister of Defense in the Federal Government Short II . On March 2, 2020, she was elected as the successor to Johann Kahofer as Vice Mayor of Scheiblingkirchen-Thernberg.
